The medieval castle of Ortona is located in Abruzzo, more precisely in the province of Chieti.  Since the 14th century, High-quality wines are produced here, which were already highly regarded on many aristocratic tables at that time.  The wines are now being made under the direction of Farnese Vini, which has turned its attention to the local autochthonous grape varieties and international vines.
