SAN POLO Rosso di Montalcino 2007 | San Polo

San Polo is one of the most innovative goods in the Montalcino region, which impresses with its organic-certified wines from the 2017 vintage, which are bursting with depth and elegance.  The result is a symbiosis of passion for viniculture, love for nature, and respect for the country's landscape and history.  The grapes for Brunello di Montalcino and Rubio Rosso ripen on almost 17 hectares of vineyards at the height of 480 meters above sea level, in a privileged south-eastern location.  Both the owner, the Allegrini family, and the oenologist, Riccardo Fratton, are built using organic farming methods following the highest possible respect for people and nature.  The newly built wine cellar became climate-neutral because of that.

  • It is clear, radiant ruby red in the glass.  Berry notes cherries and blackberries in a matching interplay with accents of clove and vanilla.  The spectacularly concentrated fruit is noticeable on the palate, which also shows a suitable freshness note and very present tannins;  In the finale, pleasant roasted aromas make this red wine very complex overall.
